Special Series
for Aaron
In 2013, I prepared a design series called “Olander” with the motto “You will understand the child will change his ways while he is a sperm”. These designs were brought to life as t-shirts with the Kaft brand.
9 years later, in 2022, I wanted to reinterpret the series using AI. This time, I started to prepare the motto with 5 real characters who have an important place in my life, such as Einstein and Steve Jobs. I tried to imagine their trajectory when they were still sperm.
One of the characters was Aaron Swartz. The meaning Aaron brought to my life is invaluable. His courage, his effort to change the world, his willingness to risk everything for his beliefs made me see him as an idol in many ways.
While I was working for Aaron, besides the original designs I chose for the whole series, I prepared this series, which I couldn't bear to sift through and which I found very meaningful, in different tones, specially for Aaron.
